What stands out about the new all-electric ŠKODA ENYAQ iV when seen from outside? That was discussed by Alex Kersten, the automobile enthusiast and journalist, and head of ŠKODA’s exterior design Karl Neuhold. Neuhold draws attention to the body’s short overhangs, dynamic proportions and crystalline headlight details, as well as describing the design of the new 21 inch wheels and details enhancing the car’s outstanding aerodynamics.

While the ŠKODA ENYAQ iV looks muscular, dynamic and self-assured from outside, inside the atmosphere is cosy. Head of interior design at ŠKODA Petr Olah tells Alex that the car offers six interior design versions created by the designers to correspond to various lifestyles reflected in home interiors. Their conversation then moves on to the comfortable seats, new steering wheel design and distinctive dashboard that is as practical as it is striking:

Alex Kersten

The thirty-six-year-old motoring journalist is best known for his work at Car Throttle, a YouTube channel that began back in 2009. Before he joined Car Throttle in 2011, where he is in charge of video content, he worked for various car magazines, including Autocar. Alex comes from London and is a big ŠKODA fan. He created quite a stir with his series of videos about a second-hand first-generation ŠKODA OCTAVIA with 700,000 kilometres on the clock that he and his colleagues picked up for just 200 pounds. Alex is active on social networks as @autoalex.
