Model Description

The new generation of Škoda’s largest SUV is being made available with a plug-in hybrid drive for the first time. The electric motor combines with a powerful internal combustion engine to offer a highly eco-friendly driving experience and long range, while maintaining high output transmitted to the front wheels by a six-speed automatic transmission. AC charging via wallboxes and public charging points or DC charging at fast-charging stands enables you to charge your battery quickly, whether you’re at home or on the go. For those who enjoy a sporty drive, a Sportline version of the Kodiaq iV is available.

Design

Design

The second-generation Kodiaq comes with a lower drag coefficient (cx) of 0.282. This has been achieved by introducing changes such as active radiator shutters and a new front and rear bumper design, all of which make a positive difference to fuel and power consumption.

Battery and charging

The 25.7 kWh battery packs an electric-only range of more than 100 km (WLTP). The battery connector for AC or DC charging is positioned under the cover on the left front wing.

Always online

Always online

The car’s permanent internet connection makes “over the air” updates, online route planning, and the many Škoda Connect mobile online services easy to use. The Kodiaq iV plug-in hybrid’s special features include Remote Charging, Remote Air-Conditioning, and Departure Planner.

The infotainment system makes it easy to switch between electric-only driving and hybrid mode, in which the car automatically controls how the electric motor and internal combustion engine interact.

Roomy

Large though the battery is, the Kodiaq iV still offers a generous 745 litres of boot space. And this is the first time that Škoda has placed the gear selector on the steering column below the steering wheel to give the centre console a simple, uncluttered look and more storage space.
